Description (last modified by )
It seems to happen to me about once a week or so. I'll be moving a window in seamless mode and the virtual machine just freezes. Video output will show a corrupted image and everything halted. A reboot of the machine fixed the issue. This was happening both before upgrading to VirtualBox 4.0 as well as after. However, it seems to happen a bit more running VirtualBox 4.0.
Host: Windows 7 Client: Ubuntu 10.10 (Fresh install yesterday)

I apologize reboot was a bad term to use. I actually have to force quit the VM in Task Manager then restart the the VM in VirtualBox. It has not happened to me again since this bug. I'll try to grab a screenshot next time it happens, in case the little evidence that provides is somehow helpful.

This just happened to me again now. This time I captured a screenshot. I noticed that I lost functionality of the mouse within the VM. I thought XChat simply stopped responding, so I tried to move the window to see if it was XChat or the VM. Upon trying to move the window I got this. Same problems, everything frozen, needed to pull up Task Manager to quit and relaunch all Virtualbox related items.

Thought I should update that I have not seen this happen in several months now after keeping up with Virtualbox updates.

Do you mean a reboot of the virtual machine, as in Host+R or using the menu? Or did you terminate the machine and restart it?
