Impossible to switch an image to "immutable" after creating a snapshot — at Initial Version

Description

During installation of a complex system I took several snapshots. Now I want to use the latest state with the "immutable" feature. This seems to be impossible. Even though I removed the image from the virtual machine the image stays somehow attached to the machine, propably because of the snapshots.

Here is the console output of the unregisterimage command:

$ VBoxManage unregisterimage disk XPSP2.vdi VirtualBox Command Line Management Interface Version 1.5.2 (C) 2005-2007 innotek GmbH All rights reserved.
