Please upload a VBox.log file of such a VM session. Is 3D enabled for this VM?

i cannot be sure, each time i let the installer run and i walked away. however if i end the session when it's hung and try to run the image i am prompted with the install screen.
if the installer finished and hang on a (auto) reboot, then i should be able to run the image and get into a hung state on bootup
one can presume the install did not complete
