Import of virtual appliance with shared folder fails

Description
When attempting to import a virtual appliance in which a shared folder is attached the import fails due to a non-existent path on the host. This happens specifically where the source and target platforms are different e.g. MacOSX -> Windows. No Vbox.log file exists since the import fails. The dialog box reports the following messages:
