VBox GUI crashes when VM with active USB filter is running

Description
This is with VBox 4.0.0 with the Extension Pack, on Windows 7 Ultimate x64, running an Ubuntu 10.0 i386 VM.
The VBox GUI crashes if I access the Virtual Media Manager or the New VM wizard while my Ubuntu VM is running with an active USB filter. If I deactivate the USB filter, I don't see any crashes. The VM seems to continue running without problems, but if I restart the GUI, it is out of sync with the running VM, i.e. it thinks the VM is stopped. I have to shut everything down to get it all back in sync.

Any change with VBox 4.1.4? There were many bugs in the Windows USB driver fixed.
