7349,Some shared folders appear empty when they are not => Fixed in SVN,Pete S,,"After installing guest additions on a WinXP system and setting up a shared folder I noticed that some subfolders appears to be empty when they are not. No errors of any kind are shown.

I've found that this behavior is caused by characters from another character set being present in one or several filenames located in that folder.

In linux the shell represent those characters as ? for example in the file abc?123.txt. Nautilus shows them as abc123.txt.

The characters come from other windows systems accessing a samba share using a different character set than the samba host system.

If I add a network drive in the guest system (served by samba on the host) accessing the exact same folders and files as virtualbox's shared folders, everything appears as it should.
