v1 v2 10 10 Update: 11 11 Now I noticed a difference: my mouse gestures from the host system aren't transported to the virtual system anymore. But I can live with that. 12 13 Update 2: 14 Keystrokes like e. g. Alt+Tab aren't working as well in the virtual system without auto-capture option. 15 16 It seems that the auto-capture option isn't a feature but a workaround to being able to disable normal auto-capture behaviour, because it has deficites like not releasing the capture properly when moving the mouse away from the virtual screen.
