Description
Various users have been reporting a shifted lower row on their keyboard, e.g. see:

In my case, a Debian Sid host system with a Debian Etch guest, the lower row is shifted, too. So, pressing 'y' yields a 'x' and so on. This is not an X-Server problem, console is affected as well. Locale is de_DE.UTF-8 on both systems. Thinks USED to work fine before, but unfortunately I can't tell when this bug occured.
Best, Erhard

Surely you meant without dead keys? Switching to the standard "with dead keys" layout should fix the problem until 1.5.2 is released.

This is already fixed in SVN. I'm sure you are using a German keyboard with dead keys, right? :-)
