Regression from 3.2.4

Reported by: Nathanael Noblet Owned by:
Component: USB Version: VirtualBox 3.2.6
Keywords: Cc:
Guest type: Windows Host type: Linux

Description

On Fedora 13 x86_64 host, USB devices are no longer accessible.

If I downgrade to VirtualBox-3.2-3.2.4_62467_fedora12-1.x86_64.rpm I can use filters or connect host plugged usb devices, everything works fine. As soon as I upgrade to VirtualBox-3.2-3.2.6_63112_fedora12-1.x86_64.rpm USB stops working.

Could you please paste the output from "VBoxManage list usbhost"? (If it is not too long that is, otherwise putting it in a file and attaching it would be better.)

Hmm... I installed 3.2.6 again and now the USB devices aren't greyed out like they were before, very odd... You can close this if you want as I can no longer reproduce it. This is odd, I restarted the host, and the guest, tried using filters, removed the filters but only downgrading to 3.2.4 got usb working again. File a bug and it mysteriously disappears. Oh well.
