I do have a share among the host, Mac OS 10.6.4 and both Ubuntu.64 and Windows.7.64; it works fine and does not seem to place impact on CPU as described here.
However, changing from 3.2.4 to 3.2.6 I noticed a poor performance in MS Windows.7.64; Ubuntu.64 runs much better.
Just my input to the support team: performance on 3.2.6 seems in my case, noticeable worse than previously under 3.2.4 and earlier distributions.
