Our virtual server fall down usually in 3-4 days period.
The mentioned problem appeared till I started to use around 10-15 symlink on host side of VBox Shared Folders mounted by fstab

We use [http://munin.php4.builder.hu/magentob/magentob.html php4] guest for handling php4 scripts on common [http://munin.magentob.builder.hu/magentob/magentob.html php5] host trough apache proxy
