Name resolving does not work with bridged adapter setup

Description
Running 3.2.4-62467 on a windows 7 64bit host, and ubuntu guest, with bridged network adapter, name resolving does not work. File /etc/resolv.conf is filled in correctly with dhcp, pinging any host with IP address works, but pinging a host with its name does not.

No idea either. Reopen if necessary.

With VMWare Player did not work either. So after trying some things, I've found out, that disabling a VPN client I have installed, it works again. The only odd thing is that using VB 3.1.0 (before upgrading to 3.2.4) there was no problem with it.
