Description
"s34gull" found a new bug. VirtualBox does not work with VirtIO w/ 4GB guests. I have verified that it works on Qemu/KVM, on same host with a similar guest, so this is clearly a VBox bug.
Host: AMD Opteron, 24 CPU + 48 GB RAM, RHEL 5.X, x64, kvm-83-154.el5, VBOX 3.2.0
Guest: RHEL 5.4, x64 + VirtIO + 4 GB of RAM (or above)
Problem happens when VM has 4 GB of RAM.
Workarounds: Changing NIC to Intel E1000 -or- reducing guest RAM to 2 GB (with VirtIO)
