Description (last modified by )
There are some improvements to the GUI I want to suggest; I simply merged these into one bug, feel free to reorganize that into multiple bug reports. ;-)
- The list of VMs on the left side of the GUI takes up so much space that I need to scroll the list. The solution would be simple: Allow for a "small icons" view that reduces the size of the OS icons by 50% and puts the name and state of the VM in just one line of text, taking up half the vertical space.
- Similiarly, on OS X, I would like to see the toolbar icons without the text, saving space as well. This is a minor issue, because I have simply hidden the toolbar completely.
- The panel in the main window (on OS X) on the right side should have some padding one the right side.
- Finally, It would be useful to have to option to drag a particular VM icon from the list and drop it in the filesystem, creating a shortcut. On OS X this should create a ".app" bundle with a script to start the VM; I've made such bundles for my personal use, but it would be nice to create these just using drag&drop.

Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
For the first issue there are groups to group VMs now, the third item is fixed since the GUI overhaul as far as I can tell. For the last item an alias can be created from the GUI for a particular machine.
The only remaining item is the second one which we won't fix as we will get reports about unclear items otherwise. I'll mark this ticket as fixed because the majority of the suggessted items is fixed.
