Windows XP Freezes on install while formatting eventually aborts

Ubuntu Feisty when I go through the install process it goes fine until it wants to format the partition. At this point, no matter which option is chosen (NTFS, NTFS quick, FAt, etc) the system will become extremely slow and pretty much non-responsive. After waiting for about 5 - 10 minutes (maybe longer) the virtualbox machine shuts down and it displays "aborted" next to the machine instance. Here is the log that is generated:

Assigning too much memory to a VM is always dangerous. :) You need a save enough for the host OS. Closing.

FIXED:
Ok, so I was giving it 1024MB mem, lowering this to the recommended 192Mb allows the install to proceed as normal. I also disabled the Network interfaces, but I don't think that is related.
