Booting Windows XP in safe mode solves the issue. The Fedora 12 computer runs a kernel: Linux whitebird 2.6.32.9-70.fc12.i686.PAE #1 SMP Wed Mar 3 04:57:21 UTC 2010 i686 i686 i386 My machine has a dual core Pentium U4100 CPU @ 1.3GHz and has 4Gb of RAM. Attached is the VBox.log and a screen capture showing the faulty driver causing the BSoD. Looks like intelppm.sys is causing the trouble. I think that I have started having this new behavior since I upgraded to VirtualBox 3.1.4. Regards, Ilyes Gouta." defect closed host support VirtualBox 3.1.6 obsolete intelppm.sys Windows XP ilyes.gouta@… Windows Linux
