Reported by: | sekmet | Owned by: | |
---|---|---|---|
Component: | GUI/seamless | Version: | VirtualBox 3.1.2 |
Keywords: | compiz seamless 3d-acceleration | Cc: | |
Guest type: | other | Host type: | Windows |
Description (last modified by aeichner) (diff)
When compiz effects are enabled inside a linux guest on a windows host, after switching to seamless mode the linux window's borders and title bar are not drawn on the screen and aren't clickable either.
Compiz works fine in window mode and 3D acceleration enabled in Virtualbox. And seamless mode also works when compiz is disabled.

On all the linux windows the borders are invisible, except when one linux window overlaps another.

It seems seamless mode is simply not registering the compiz window borders. Allowing us to specify a margin around your current definitions for windows could be an easy fix while you try to get detection of compiz window manager.

The virtual machine was switched to seamless mode then switched back to windowed mode during this log.
