This was originally filed in the OpenSolaris bugs database:

where unfortunately we can't do anything about it.
Here's the bug description as supplied by the submitter there:
"After installing the VirtualBox package from Sun's "extra" repository I have a GNOME menu item Apps -> System Tools -> VirtualBox. Clocking on it does nothing whatsoever. It should ideally launch VirtualBox :-p
Not sure if the bug is in the package or OpenSolaris - please move to VirtualBox's defect tracker if it is not an os bug."
It's unclear what the Host type: and Component: fields should be, so leaving them as "other" for now.
