Description

On a fresh installation of Kubuntu 9.10 (64-bit) guest on a Windows 7 (64-bit) Ultmate host, a crash of VirtualBox (with Guest Additions) happens every time I select the Desktop icon in Kubuntu's System Settings. The VM has 1 GB of RAM (4 GB on the system), 32 MB of the video RAM, 2D acceleration disabled, and 3D acceleration enabled.

I don't have symbols for VirtualBox but the stack trace is below:

Still relevant with VBox 3.2.6?

Could you please try to install latest host graphics driver? A similar crash in ig4icd64.dll was fixed by updating the driver. See http://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/8316
