Windows XP crashes when using shared folders — at Initial Version

Description
I am using the following configuration:
-- Linux 2.6.18 host -- VirtualBox 1.3.4 (bug also present in VirtualBox 1.3.2) -- Windows XP guest -- shared folder of 300 GB, >10000 files, >1000 folders -- FAR Manager
When browsing the shared folder with FAR Manager (just changing folders), the Windows XP randomly dies with a blue screen of death. The same happens when copying a multi-gigabyte file. Never made it to copy the first GB -- the blue screen of death struck earlier.
I think this is a bug in VirtualBox, because I was able to share the same folder with VMWare.
