DEP settings on windows 7 do not stick

Description
In order to fix a COM Surrogate error on windows 7 VM, I had to add an exclusion on the list of programs subject to DEP. But whenever I restart the machine the setting is not there, it keeps the old one (enforcing DEP w/o exclusions).

Replying to sandervl73:
And what makes you think this is a VirtualBox problem? If you are using a 32 bits Windows 7 VM, you must make sure PAE is enabled. (DEP relies on it)
DEP is enforced on windows components (so I believe PAE IS already enabled, and it is anyway); also the setting DO work on a physical system. It just do not stick on the guest VM.

PAE is not enabled in the VM settings as the log clearly shows.
