Description (last modified by )
Scenario: Server: offering an NFS
Linux host: mounting above NFS locally and making it shared through Virtualbox
Windows XP guest: accessing the shared vbox folder
When the host has a remote nfs mounted locally, making that folder shared through VirtualBox to a guest windows (XP) machine cause stability issues when accessing the folder within the guest.
The guest OS slows considerably, and then VirtualBox eventually crashes.
