No other configurations were tested. The Appropriate ""Linux"" and ""Ubuntu"" dropdown were choice, and ""Linux""/""other"", and ""other""/""other"" were tried. Various setting, changing Memory size, PAE on/off, etc. All to no avail. Just a black screen and nothing happens after mounting the ISO, and boot. The iso file is being mounted / read and the md5 checksums were found to be correct (no iso download error). VirtualBox shows the correct boot order for CD, HD, so it usually will work.
