Description

  • Create a new hard disk, and mark it as immutable.
  • Attach it to a VM.
  • Use Virtual Media Manager to remove it (Remove button should not be enabled)
  • "Are you sure?" - Remove
  • "Do you want to delete?" - Keep
Failed to close the hard disk C:
    ...
Hard disk '<NULL>' has 20641136 child hard disks

If I answer "Do you want to delete?" - Delete, the message is:

Hard disk '<NULL>' has 0 child hard disks

The message looks better now. Actually one must remove the childs first. Though you are right, the remove button should be grayed out.
