Crash reproduced while trying to run gmax (free version of 3DS) on a Windows XP host

Short description:
I trying to run gmax. (Free version of the 3D studio.)
If I configure gmax to use OpenGL, I get weird artifacts.
Trying to use Direct3D ends with the above crash.

I'm still able to reproduce this on version 3.2.0 running Win7 host and guest.
I installed Guest Additions in Safe Mode.
VirtualBox crashes when trying to run the Windows Experience test in guest with 3d acceleration enabled. It appears to crash when Windows is testing Media Decoding performance - which might be related to original posters report "opening video in media player"

What do you open AVI files with? WindowMediaPlayer or something else?

I can reproduce the crash when running the Windows Experience Index with VirtualBox 3.2.8 r64453. Host: Mandriva Linux 2010.0, guest: Windows 7 Home Premium. The error message in the log is the same one as in this bug summary. "Fixed in SVN" is untrue.

I also can 100% reproduce the crash if trying to use the 3D Acceleration in Win7 Guest in VirtualBox 3.2.10 r66523 on 2.6.34-gentoo-r6 linux host. Same results with different nvidia-drivers (at least 195.36.31, 256.53). It's seems it's not Host OS specific. The assertion text is here:
OpenGL Error: Assertion failed: mural, file /home/vbox/tinderbox/3.2-lnx32-rel/src/VBox/HostServices/SharedOpenGL/crserverlib/server_context.c, line 197
For more details see attached log.
BTW: 2D,3D,vdpau Acc. is working fine on Host.
Need even more Input? Please don't hesitate to ask.
