Description

I eventually figured out how to edit the disk out of some XML file, but there ought to be an interface for this, if you can createhd with --remember

The correct command is VBoxManage closemedium disk|dvd|floppy <uuid|filename>. With VBox 3.0 you have to delete the file manually after it was unregistered using the above command, VBox 3.1 knows the command line switch --delete which does even this job for you.
