Description (last modified by )
While working with VBox's remote desktop client, when I close the remote client on the remote machine or when I remove a USB thumb drive on the remote machine, the remote desktop client window closes and aborts the Virtual Box Guest session on the host. Leaving it shown in the VirtualBox console as aborted. When I restart it, it boots as normal.
My setup is Ubuntu 9.04 64bit on the host running Virtualbox 3.0.6. The guest is Windows XP SP2. For the remote access, I was using Ubuntu 9.04 on my laptop with the included Virtualbox rdesktop client following the instructions from the manual.

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
I regularly encounter this problem in similar hosts (ubuntu x64 10.10, 11.04, fedora 14 x64) and guests (almost always windows -- xp, vista, 7, 2003, 2008... ). If I can supply any relevant information please just ask. This has been a major problem for me.
