Description
I was tring to install a Windows 2003 R2 Server Guest on a Windows XP SP3 Host. The guest has a .vdi VHD attached using an LSILogic SCSI adapter. During the Windows 2003 setup when you attempt to format the partition using the NTFS Full Format option the setup fails with the following error: "Setup was unable to format the partition. The disk may be damaged."
If you select the Quick Format option the install works.
