Can you tell me exactly which Linux this is? Your problem can only be debugged if I have the ISO/VDI. Thanks.

Replying to sandervl73:

Ubuntu 9.04 i386. Linux kaktus-laptop 2.6.28-15-generic #52-Ubuntu SMP Wed Sep 9 10:49:34 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux Sun VirtualBox Graphical User Interface 3.0.6

OpenSolaris ISO's: osol-0906-x86.iso and osol-1002-122-x86.iso (kernel panic, so it's probably osol bug)

I will have to give that a try tomorrow. I assume osol-0906-x86.iso is the standard 0906 release from Sun.

Yes indeed.

Hey!

not sure whether it's exactly the same problem, but i had issues on 3.0.8 with solaris installed from the same osol iso. i reported a solaris bug on this, and they told me that it is most prolly a VM bug... so i'm posting a reference to the bug here:

Any Ideas?

Cheers, Markus
