Seamless Mode does not make guest desktop transparent under Snow Leopard.

Description
Having upgraded to Snow Leopard both 2.2.4 and 3.0.4 no longer remove the desktop background from the guest OS when running in seamless mode. This has been tested with my usual Vista VM and also a freshly created VM using an ubuntu image downloaded from here:
http://virtualbox.wordpress.com/images/ubuntu/
(image #6 installed, along with the appropriate version of the guess additions).
This is running on a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz MacBook Pro.
Anecdotal evidence of a wider range of configurations than this has been provided on the forums, however Snow Leopard is the common factor.
Please let me know what other information you require. I don't have the logs to hand at present but there is nothing relating the seamless mode appearing when it is activated. I can post them later if required.

Ignore that link to Ticket #6, I didn't realize that would mark-up like that.
