Description
I have VirtualBox 3.0.4 installed in a Windows Vista host.
I am able to install Ubuntu Server 9.04 in a virtual machine, however the Ubuntu server does not boot after the install procedure is over.
When I start the virtual machine I only get a black screen. No error messages.
This machine has all default settings. It has 1 virtual IDE Master drive (for Ubuntu Server) and 4 other SATA virtual drives for a RAID that I want to test.
Note:
See TracTickets
for help on using tickets.
Turn on PAE in the VM settings. Ubuntu's linux kernel assumes it's enabled and doesn't bother to check.
