Howdy,
With this release, when pasting from my VM to my host a null byte is introduced at the end of the cut contents. It's easily viewed when pasting into an emacs window (@).
Environment
- Host O/S: openSUSE 11.1
- Guest O/S - 1: Windows XP, latest SP's
- Guest O/S - 2: Windows 2003 Server, latest SP's

I believe I have fixed this problem. If you feel like testing the fix, you can try out a test build of the future 3.0.6 release via one of the links below. As these are generic script-based installers, you will need to uninstall your current version before installing one of them. Obligatory disclaimer here.

I finally had a chance to test the above. I can confirm it works. W00t! Thank you!
I also see the `cursor-on-restore' fix is in as well.
I'm not sure if there's a way for me to close this bug. If there is, I'll do so.
