Can't export large VM to FAT

I'm on MacOS. I want to export a VM for use on Windows. MacOS disk utils can format for FAT or MacOS. If I format for FAT, then the export fails due to the file being to big. It would be good if export could somehow split.

FAT 32 has a limit of 4GB per file (VDI). This is related to all host OSes, not just Mac.
As for you, I recommend you to install MacFUSE + NTFS-3G -- this allows NTFS RW support on Mac OS X.
