initial v1 1 1 Spent a few hours on this issue today. 2 2 3 Tried to connect using "External" authentication from a local Windows 7 client to Windows 7 client running VirtualBox, set RDP port to 5000 for the VM. 3 Tried to connect using "External" authentication from a local Windows 7 client to Windows 7 client running VirtualBox 4.1.8 r75467. Set RDP port to 5000 for the VM in question. 4 5 RDP authentication set to "Null" and connecting using "COMPUTERNAME:5000" worked fine, but once I set it to "External", it was a no go. 4 6 5 7 First i tried to connect using "COMPUTERNAME:5000", but I just got the same two error messages as the others (error 5 out of memory etc.). This never worked.
