Description (last modified by )
Currently you are able to give a virtual drive (.vdi) a name which contains a \ (backslash). When you do this Windows sees this as an folder, and this will lead to trouble. The first trouble you get is that the vdi will not be placed in the correct folder if you specified an other folder for .vdi-files in the settings, but it will be placed in the default folder. Second problem is that the virtual machine can't boot from the disk.

Should've been fixed long ago, please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
I'd hardly call this critical. It's an annoyance.
