Hello, when trying to start a virtual machine i get an error message: Cannot access the kernel driver Details: ErrorCode: E_Fail (0x80004005) Component: Machine Interface: IMachine

Hello ...
I had the same error here ... see:
- I am using Windows XP Sp3 ;
- I am admin of my machine;
- The virtual box version is 3.20 r61806
- There are some errors during the installation. Take a lock on the attachment files.
CAn you help me ?
PS: I am trying to install some old releases, but i had the same error :-(

dayvison, to be sure: This is the 32-bit version of Windows XP with service pack 3 installed, correct?

Which Windows version is that? Was the installation of the VBox package successful or were there any errors reported? Which package did you install?
