LosdowsXP setup restart hang

Description
I accidentally switched-off 'Guest Additions' while running LosdowsXPAmi32 SP2 making Los boot with the screen blanked displaying nothing on my Laptop Ubuntu 8.10.AMDx64/nVidia GeForce7000M/nForce610M GPU/VBox2.2.0 & now LosdowsXPAmi setup restart hangs & never finishes.
Also, can it interferr with the host & stop it accessing the internet? Or, is it just my Disgracer NutBook getting worse?

The LosXP VDI was updated from VBox 2.0.4?, 2.0.6-39765, 2.1.4-42893, 2.2.0.-45846 versions.
I might actually have uninstalled 'Gueat Additions' to get the blank screen when finished bootup.
