I have 2.2.4, and the same problem is happening to me with Vista. I disabled the LAN connection temporarily, and every time I try to enable it now, I get a critical error in VirtualBox. Host is OS X 10.5.7.

Helo.
I have VBox 2.2.4 on Windows XP (host), with Windows 2003 Server on Virtual Machine. We need to use 2 network adapters with different IP address. Both adapters were configured as follows:
PCnet-FAST III (Bridge, 'Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller'), Am79C973. PCnet-FAST III (Bridge, 'Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller'), Am79C973.
If I disable any LAN connections from within my virtual machine (Windows 2003 Server), and try to enable it again, it crashes Virtual Box.
I managed to stop crashes changing configuration of virutal machine adapter type from PCnet-FAST III (Am79C973) to PCnet-PCI II (Am79C970A).
May be this may help to find a problem.
Thank you very much. Best regards.

I assume for the moment this applies to the other as well. If not, please reopen and attach a 3.1.6 log.
XP on CentOS also crashes Virtualbox when tried to enable LAN.
