Description
Virtual Box V 2.2.2 under MacOS-X 10.5.6: After restoring a saved state of Windows-XP, the system clock starts with the date and time it had when the session was saved. So Win-XP has the wrong time and often a wrong date. Setting WIN-XP to update the time via NTP doesn't solve the problem as WIN-XP refuses to update the time when the time difference is too large. Thus, VirtualBox should initiate a proper system time when starting a saved session.
During a boot of WIN-XP the guest OS gets a proper date and time.
If you had installed the guest additions, then this would have happened automatically.
