Virtualbox 2.2.2 setup ended prematurly

Description
Virtualbox 2.2.2 setup ended prematurly because of an error on Windows Vista SP1, cannot find any error in the event logs.
Rolls back files.

Uninstalled Ver 2.20 and tried to install Ver 2.2.2 but that didn't work. Tried to reinstall Ver 2.20 but that failed as well. Reinstalled Ver 2.14, that worked, then did the modify registry, then uninstalled Ver 2.14 then installed Ver 2.22, everything is now working as expected.

I had this issue with 2.2.0 installed on Vista 64bit - Cleaning up with Microsoft Installer CleanUp Utility (see aforementioned MSI_Logging page) and than running 2.2.2 installer worked OK.

In case you're having VBox 2.2 installed currently try uninstall it first. If you're seeing problems with 2.2 uninstall please follow the instructions here on how to fix the uninstall problem.
If you're still see the problem with 2.2.2 install, please attach msi log for your failing installation.
