3D on openSUSE 11.1 fails

Host Vista business Guest openSUSE 11.1 Gnome When I enable the desktop effect all I get is a white screen. I can use the Compiz DT shortcut and see the cube rotate but no video is represented. Here are the test and I am attaching the VBox logs as well.

Try running "LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose CR_DEBUG=1 simple-ccsm 2>&1|tee log.txt" and post the log here please. When you get white screen with compiz enabled. Try restarting xorg to see if it helps. Also, your host log doesn't appear to be from the VM run where you've launched glxinfo/glxgears etc.

Sorry it took a while to get back to you. I had to reinstall the OS due to it crashing after I tried to get the 3D to work. This is a new install (let me know if need the new logs). Setup was the same and the same results. Just as a point here I have Ubuntu 9.04 and Fedora 10 working on this system. Both with 3D effects working. Have you tested OpenSUSE 11.1 and does it work for you?

Sorry I have fallen behind in trying to resolve this. I am attaching the latest set of logs for you to see where I or the OS or VB could be going wrong.

I have similar problems too, with VBox 3.2.0
3D screensavers crash. using KDE3 in guest.

Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
I made a mistake in selecting the type of VBox it is not OSE it is PUEL sorry! I tried to change it but can not find where.
