SLES11 VM freezes on heavy IO

Hello,
Since I upgraded to 2.2.0, my SLES11 machines freezes while on heavy IO. I have to retry installation some times in order to complete the installation. I also reproduced this on a OpenSuse11.1. I'm trying to reproduce also in a Solaris.
It freezes specially on rpm installation (i.e.: kernel source) but sometimes it seems to occur rarely without any special operation.
Is there anything I can provide to help find out where it stopped?
