audio problem

Hi,
I use VirtualBox for school on a LTSP server host (ubuntu 8.10). The Hypervisor optimizations of 2.2's version are effectively best :
I can run 2 VM who play video in Giga with 1,4Go of RAM (
2.1 : the server take all the free memory and swap).
Well, I have some problems with the sound :
- The sound is clear with SB16 but the micro didn't work
- The sound is chopped with ICH AC97 but the micro seems worked
On the server or on a thin client.

Ok, I found the difference We add some drivers in our Windows guest :
- Sigmatel 5.10.0.7170 25/01/2002 doesn't work
- Microsoft 5.1.2535.0 01/07/2001 work fine http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

I solve my problem, I used as guest a Windows XP we had modified with some drivers embedded who take the place of the Microsoft driver for ICH AC97.
The sound will become fluid and audible :)
