To reproduce error: On Ubuntu 8.10
- Mount External Harddrive in Ubuntu with an iso Files
- Run Virtual Machine (I did WinXP Pro SP2)
- Add new media in Virtual Media Manager and choose iso files a.iso b.iso, .... from external harddrive
- Mount a.iso file in Virtual Machine
- Save Virtual Machine
- Close Virtual Box
- unmount external harddrive
- Open Virtual Box
- Try to start Virtual Machine -> fails
- Open Virtual Media Manager
- Release and Remove of all b.iso, c.iso, .... files from external harddrive, which are not mounted on saved VM is possible
- Release of mounted a.iso is not possibe
Error Message: The machine is not mutable (state is 2). Result Code: VBOX_E_INVALID_VM_STATE (0x80BB0002)
It is also not possible to simply restart the saved VM.
