#3441 closed enhancement (worksforme)

"Permission denied" when attaching more than one VM to a network interface

Reported by: ugemkow Owned by:

Description (last modified by Valery Ushakov)

When attaching more than one VM (processes for different users) to the same network interface, an "permission denied" error happens. The workaround is to use TAP interfaces as before. I am not sure whether this is expected behaviour.

Appears to have regressed under VB 4.0. I had concurrent bridged-networking VMs working fine under different userids under 3.x.
