VBox Crashes on booting the VM

Hello *,
i am using Vbox on Windwos XP Prof SP2 as non adminstrative user. I´am using this software for developement purpose, just testing new build and programming.
The VM is an Linux from Scratch with Kernel 2.6.16.50, before upgrading the Kernel of the VM everything worked fine.
Everytime i boot the VM the VM crashes while booting.

To which kernel did you upgrade? 2.6.18.x contains a bug that prevents it from running in VBox (or VMWare for that matter).
Try again with VBox 1.4.0 too. Reopen if it still happens.
