Description

My System (Vista 32 SP 1, dhcp ip adress) crashes with a blue screen while booting form the 'Ruhezustand' (idle mode?). The analyses of the chrash dump indicates, that the VBoxNetFlt.sys causes the problem. after removing VirtualBox my system is stable.

Replying to Telebear:

Did this occur with VirtualBox 2.1.2 and/or 2.1 ?
Could you attach a minidump with a crash here?
Thanks

Sorry i was short of time this morning. The crash happens only in the version 2.1.4 of VirtualBox and not on every boot from the 'Ruhezustand' - but mostly. I've setted up the whole system two weeks ago toeather with the latest drivers. the dump file is now attached. I tried to attacht the systeminfrormation file but it's to big. Tom

The minidump shows it's VBoxNetFlt.sys v2.1.2 that's failing. Probably there was some installation mess-up while 2.1.2-to2.1.4 update. Try reinstalling the VBox 2.1.4 and let me know if it solves the problem.
