#3253 closed defect (worksforme)

Numblock keys are broken with rdesktop -> use rdesktop -N command line option

Description

We found an error with the numblock keys. I will try to explain it as best as i can:

  • open a notepad
  • type some chars
  • type a number on the numblock

---> you have to type the number two times

  • type some numbers
  • hit a direction key

---> they make a number (2,4,6,8)

  • sometimes the "4" key is interpreted as the left-key

I attached the log from a machine where i typed something in the notepad.

Please use -N parameter with rdesktop. Then numpad and cursor keys should work fine.

I'll see if it is possible to support the default rdesktop numlock synchronization method in the VRDP server.
