install worked fine in suse 10.2 but when I try to start it I get an error

Description

The vbox install log says: Makefile:88: * Error: unable to find the include directory for your current Linux kernel. Specify ERN_INCL=<directory> and run Make again.. Stop.As I am a newbee with Linux and Suse 10.2 I do not know what to do. The Version of Virtual Box I downloaded as rpm was for Suse 10.2, so shouldnt it know where that directory is? There is a nice guide about VirtualBox on openSUSE: http://forgeftp.novell.com/lfl/.html/virtualbox.html

Unfortunately, it doesn't covers your problem, and I have never experienced this.

Resolution: invalid
Status: newclosed

Sounds to me like you haven't installed the include files for your linux kernel. Without it you can't compile the module. It's all explained in the manual. Please use the forums or mailinglists for such questions.
