Description (last modified by Valery Ushakov)

User manual of VirtualBox 2.1.0 says than 8 NICs are now supported per VM, however under openSUSE 10.3 Linux - only 4 NICs appear in GUI as available options.

User Manual also doesn't explains how-to setup 8 NICs in any non-GUI way.

Summary: VirtualBox 2.1.0 lacks the advertised 8 NIC supportFeature request: GUI shows only 4 NICs

That's done on purpose. Not sure if we'll clutter the GUI with options hardly anybody needs.

Plus it would be good to document how-to do this in non-GUI way.

To use more than 4 NIC adapters you have to use VBoxManage.

This has been documented in "8.8.2. Networking settings" a long time ago.
